Our mission is simple: more time for care, with genuine attention.
At Attendi, we believe true attention to oneanother is at the heart of good care.
Care is built on relationships. From that relationship, and supported by the autonomy and expertise of the care professional, clients are helped in the best possible way. It is precisely that human connection that makes care meaningful.
And yet, something increasingly gets in the way: software. Screens and keyboards demand attention at the very moments when that attention belongs with the client. In doing so, they erode the very essence of care.
Reporting is part of care. It is essential for safe, high-quality care. But administrative workload should be limited to what is truly necessary, and never made bigger than it needs to be. We have a shared responsibility to protect the reputation of this beautiful profession. Especially so that young people, whom we urgently need, choose a career in care and take their first steps in this vital work.
At Attendi, we believe artificial intelligence has the potential to bring the human scale back to healthcare. AI can make screens and keyboards fade into the background, replacing them with something that truly fits care: software you can speak to as you would to a colleague, software that gets work done for you. Above all, it should be invisible when it can be, and supportive when it must be.
We believe that if every care professional has an intelligent, digital, and helpful colleague at their side, the profession becomes even more rewarding, and together we can meet healthcare’s biggest challenges: maintaining high quality, keeping care accessible, and keeping the work enjoyable.
That is what we work on every day, together with a team of former care professionals and developers, driven by a strong sense of social purpose. And we don’t do it alone. We develop Attendi in close partnership with care organisations.
Through IFOZ, multiple care organisations are shareholders in Attendi, and we work closely with Anders Werken in de Zorg.
